It is essential to have a good strategy for making gold in World of Warcraft. There are many different strategies out there but the ones that actually make you gold should be used, since you’ll be wasting valuable time otherwise. I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for over 3 years, and I am going to share with you some of my gold making strategies.
.) If you are a high level character, it is a good idea to farm lower level instances. This gold making strategy is one of the best since there are literally tons of items that can be found in lower level instances that will make you a nice profit on the auction house. Scarlet Monastery for example, this place is literally a gold mine since just about everything there drops silk cloth. You can get stacks of silk cloth rather easily along with bind on equip blue items which can be sold at the auction house, and even green items plus bind on pick up blue items which can be disenchanted.
.) Do your research! If you are viewing the auction house and you notice Buy wow gold a common item going for a lot of gold, go on Thottbot and search for the item. This will give you a list on which enemies drop that item, and also the rate at which it drops. This is one of the many gold making strategies you can’t go wrong with.
.) Use your gathering professions! After you are a mid to high level you can easily go back to low level areas and do circuits around the area to gather items that you know sell well on the auction house. Another gold making strategy is to constantly kill enemies you can use your gathering professions on…so if you are a skinner kill enemies that skin for materials worth selling.
.) Keep up to date on seasonal events within the game. These events usually have quests that require certain items to be created through seasonal recipes, and a lot of people will pay a fortune for these items since they are too lazy to go and gather them! For example, I literally made hundreds of gold gathering small eggs during the winter event, which in my opinion was pretty awesome!
